Dr. Alan Hedges, Block-Gift Program Manager

The Coherent/II-VI Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Alan Hedges as Manager of the Block-Gift Program beginning January 1, 2024. Dr. Hedges has served as Associate Block-Gift Manager for the last year. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Southampton University, UK and his PhD from Imperial College, London, UK in Physics. Dr. Hedges worked at II-VI Incorporated (now Coherent Corp.) in Saxonburg, PA from 1993 to 2022, where he was the Director of IR Engineering & Precision Machining.
