Applicants must prove their registration in school. The Coherent/II-Vi Foundation Scholarship can only be used for tuition, books and fees, by IRS rules. All applicants must complete information on these costs so the amount of eligibility can be calculated. Students must also sign their commitment to complete 9 weeks or 360 hours of work experience from October 1, 2023 - August 31, 2024, unless it is already completed.

Proof that you are enrolled in a major in an engineering-, science-, or mathematics-related course of study for the upcoming academic year. A copy of pre-registration for the fall semester, your fall class schedule or your acceptance letter will be accepted.

Cost of Education

Because the Coherent/II-VI Foundation is under IRS Code 501(c)(3) our scholarship may only be used for tuition, books and fees. The following information will assist us in determining the potential amount of your scholarship, up to $5,000 for freshmen and $10,000 for upperclassmen.
