October 2022 — Advancements in Quantum Photonics and Electronics Structures for Communication, Computation and Sensing Systems
We returned to an in-person mini-conference on October 12, 2022 held in Pittsburgh, PA. The title for this conference was “Advancements in Quantum Photonics and Electronics Structures for Communication, Computation and Sensing Systems” and included presentations by:
- University of Delaware, PI Professor Doty – Wafer-scale growth of site-determined wavelength-tunable quantum emitters in atomically-thin (2D) semiconductors
- University of Arizona, PI Professor Fan – Scalable Integration of Diamond Color Centers with Aluminum Nitride Photonics for Quantum Information Science
- University of Buffalo, PI Professor Bird – Plasmonic Transistors for Terahertz-Band Communication
- Montana State University, PI Professor D’Urso – Improving Gravitational Measurements using Silicon Vacancy Defects in Levitated 4H-SiC Particles
The keynote address was by Professor Robert Devaty from the University of Pittsburgh.
